Shaktipat gives you the fastest meditation progress

Shaktipat is the method used by a realized teacher to awaken pure awareness in you.

Your awakening can happen instantly or in stages –according to your ability to receive Shaktipat.

There is much mystique surrounding Shaktipat, primarily because it is:

  • A very advanced practice
  • Is used with different techniques by different gurus
  • Different gurus using Shaktipat subscribe to different philosophies –Advaita, New Advaita, Kashmiri Saivism, etc.

The actual use of shaktipat is quite simple.

Your teacher places his ability to meditate in a certain state directly into your mind and energy system.

Instantly you can do what your teacher can do.

You then do the meditation practice that your teacher gives you to anchor the meditation state so that you don’t lose it.

Shaktipat Benefits

Shaktipat is a Divine energy that the Siddhars of South India use to transmit their teachings, or states of consciousness, directly into the minds of their followers. The benefits of these mind to mind transfers are many.

Shaktipat Is Safe

Shaktipat meditation practices have been used safely for thousands of years. The Siddhars of South India developed Shaktipat meditation teaching out of a genuine, heartfelt desire to help the rest of humanity attain their own level of spirituality.

Limitless love, ecstatic joy and a very deep sense of inner peace are the qualities most commonly experienced after receiving Shaktipat meditation teachings.

Shaktipat Is Fast

Traditional meditation methods require sitting in difficult, uncomfortable positions day after day for years, either in total silence or while chanting a mantra for hundreds of thousands of repetitions to gain the next level of consciousness. It’s not uncommon for people to meditate for twenty or thirty years in pursuit of a higher state.

Delivered with genuine love and compassion, Shaktipat brings you those same deep states instantly.

Shaktipat Is Easy

All of us have suffered through many years of traditional Western education. Lectures, white boards, text books, power point presentations, webnairs and computers all play their role in modern education.

Shaktipat mind to mind transfers make all of these methods as redundant as a computer makes a hammer and chisel.

What could be easier than opening your mind to an immediate influx of the eternal truths?

Suddenly, you simply know.

Shaktipat Is Proven

The true test of any practice is that it must work.

Practices that work survive. Those that don’t work, don’t survive.

For thousands of years Yogis have been passing Shaktipat meditation down from generation to generation because Shaktipat has proven itself to be the most effective teaching method available.

If another method was better, Shaktipat would have been replaced, just like white boards replaced chalk boards.

Shaktipat and Love Dissolve Negative Energies

Shaktipat meditation enables you to actually experience that everything in our universe really is energy. You can see it. You can feel it. And your mind becomes able not only to control it, but to transform one kind of energy into another.

You become able to change all emotions directly into love. This power lets you easily cleanse and heal all beings, including entities. Your past life issues, relationships, cravings all become easy to change into pure love.

Shaktipat Awakens Your Beautiful, Divine Inner Being

This is the greatest of all benefits. Becoming consciously aware of your own wondrously sublime inner self, and watching grow inside of you until it becomes you completely, is such an amazing, enthralling experience that it motivates you to practice, practice, practice. You fall in love with your spiritual practice.

Shaktipat meditation becomes ever increasing joy as you fulfil your destiny by becoming a beautiful being of pure, intelligent, Divine light that lives forever.

Where did shaktipat come from?

The practice of using shaktipat mind to mind initiations is been used for millennia.

The Siddhars

Siddhars, the highly evolved Saints of South India, have existed in an unbroken chain of Yogis for thousands of years.

Their spiritual goals include going beyond enlightenment to:

  • Transform their physical bodies into pure light, enabling them to take up residence anywhere in the universe
  • Go beyond light to become pure awareness

Siddhars have generally renounced the caste system and traditional Hindu dogma and ritual in favor of pursuing their inner Divinity, connecting directly into the purity of God.

Many live in remote hills meditating for years in caves, while others take up an anonymous existence in society as householders.

Others become teachers — some quietly and privately, while others publicly amassing great followings numbering in the millions of devotees worldwide.

Through the austerity of their spiritual practice, they develop, but generally refrain from using, the eight Siddhis, or supernatural powers. From having these powers they have developed Shaktipat -using pure energy for mind to mind transfer of deep states of meditation.

Nityanda

Nityanda is widely credited with beginning the practice of Shaktipat in modern times. However, he was certainly not the first person who could instantly awaken others. In India today, many gurus can do this who aren’t associated with Nityanda’s lineage.

Nityanda took Samadhi in 1961. While he was living in a physical body, he traveled extensively through India. He left behind two sites where you can still connect to his energies:

  1. Ganespuri near Mumbai is his shrine. There are also numerous shrines here established by his realized devotees. And there is also an ashram named Fire Mountain established by a California guru.
  2. Kanhangad Ashram in Kerala. Nityanda lived here for 25 years. He left many meditation caves that he carved out of a huge rock.

Nityanda left behind many disciples who he trained to transmit shaktipat. Today, all but one of these disciples is gone, but each of them has left their own realized followers behind who give shaktipat.

So you can easily understand that Shaktipat can be found nearly everywhere in India if you search it out.

Muktananda

Muktananda was Nityanda’s disciple who brought Shaktipat to the U.S. While his ability to awaken others isn’t questioned, his moral conduct may have been questionable.

The good side of Muktanada is presented by the Siddha Yoga organization, which has been fraught with power struggles.

The questions are raised by former Muktananda devotees.  Read this article for the details: The Secret Life of Swami Muktananda by William Rodarmor.

I present this information about Muktananda because many associate Shaktipat with him and Siddha Yoga. But these people represent only a very small portion of Shaktipat practitioners.

In India, Shaktipat is widely used by many pure gurus from different lineages and backgrounds who labor selflessly to awaken people.

What is Shaktipat?

Shaktipat is a Divine, alive, intelligent form of subtle energy used by realized SatGurus (true Guru) to carry teachings into you.

You may be asking, “What’s subtle energy?”

Subtle energies are composed of energy particles too small for modern science to observe or measure. Physicists like David Brohm and Stephen Hawkins tell us that 96% of our universe is composed of subtle energies.

Shaktipat illuminates your mind, awakens your Divine inner self and dissolves your blocks very quickly.

A SatGuru using Shaktipat can awaken your mind’s ability to observe and use subtle energies for healing, manifesting and spiritual growth.

How is shaktipat used?

There are generally three different ways that your Guru may use shaktipat. He can:

  1. Bring Shaktipat from the Universe to work on you.
  2. Send Shaktipat directly from himself to you.
  3. Call Shaktipat forth from inside you.

Shaktipat can be transmitted by:

  • Look
  • Touch
  • Thought
  • Mantra
  • Spoken word.

Shaktipat blessings can be done by:

  • Telephone
  • Through written words
  • Carried in objects like a dorje, a statue, a flower or food.

When giving Shaktipat, the SatGuru places his state of consciousness directly into your mind. Whatever is in his mind goes directly into you. It’s therefore extremely important that your Guru is a clear, clean vessel for the Divine Shaktipat energy to flow though.

What will my shaktipat experience be?

Different individuals experience different levels of awakening after receiving Shaktipat. The level you go into will be determined by your present Spiritual condition. If you’re very clean, you can enjoy good results.

  1. In the most profound Shaktipat experience no guru is needed. There is a direct experience of the Shaktipat energy. The physical body dies immediately and you go directly into a permanent state of enlightenment from which you instruct others.
  2. In the second level of Shaktipat experience, you go directly into enlightenment immediately without a Guru, but you remain in your physical body.
  3. In the third Shaktipat level, you desire greatly to find a Guru, but you need no instruction. A simple glance, touch or just being in the Guru’s presence is enough to trigger illumination.
  4. In the fourth Shaktipat level you desire and receive instruction from your Guru, then attain liberation at death.
  5. In the fifth Shaktipat level you still have worldly desires, but your spiritual desires are stronger. At death you go to a paradise where your worldly desires are satiated. You then receive initiation again and become enlightened.
  6. In the sixth level of Shaktipat, your worldly desires outweigh your spiritual desires. You will need another human life as a spiritual seeker before attaining liberation.
  7. In the lowest Shaktipat level, you resort to spiritual practice only in times of great suffering. Progress is incremental. You’ll need many lifetimes to become realized.

The level of Shaktipat that you go into is determined by your present spiritual condition. The better it is, the higher your entry point.

Your present spiritual condition is an amalgamation of all of your experiences over all of your lifetimes. It may have little to do with the present outward conditions you are living in.

Another crucially important point to remember is that the Bhagavad Gita  assures us that any person who genuinely desires liberation, and pursues it, can attain it in this very lifetime.

So no matter what Shaktipat level you fall into, you can change your position by simply intending to do it, then following through. Do your daily practice and seek out your Shaktipat teachers. Progress will come.

Receiving Shaktipat is a wonderful experience. It’s amazing to immediately become able to experience deep meditations and high states of consciousness.

However, those abilities can soon be lost if you fail to practice them daily until they become anchored in your mind, becoming permanent states that you can go in to and out of at will.

Without the daily practice that’s necessary to anchor your precious Shaktipat gift, you’ll lose it rather quickly and be left with only a beautiful memory.
